Chimney chase caps often leaks and get rusty. National Contractors replace them with custom made aluminum or stainless steel caps.

 

Aluminum chimney chase caps are constructed of 18 gauge aluminum sheet with a pressed flange. No caulking is required. In stainless steel caps all seams are welded.
